Marketplace role
Catskills Property Connect is a directory and marketplace that helps users discover and contact independent service providers. We are not a contractor, employer, agent, partner, or representative of listed providers. We do not perform, supervise, guarantee, or accept responsibility for provider work.
User responsibilities
You are responsible for evaluating providers, confirming licenses, insurance, qualifications, estimates, contracts, and suitability before hiring anyone. Any agreement for services is directly between the customer and the service provider.
Provider accounts and listings
Providers must submit accurate, current information and keep account credentials secure. Providers may not make deceptive claims, impersonate others, publish unlawful content, manipulate marketplace activity, or use the service to harm users. We may review, edit, suspend, or remove listings that violate these Terms or present a risk to the marketplace.
Paid features
Providers may purchase credits, promotion, or other paid features described at checkout. Prices and included benefits will be shown before purchase. Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise at checkout, completed purchases are non-refundable. Paid placement does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of results.
Acceptable use
You may not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or copy the directory at scale, introduce malicious code, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, send spam, or use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
Intellectual property
Catskills Property Connect and its site design, branding, software, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Providers retain rights to content they submit and grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, format, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote their listings.
Third-party services and links
The service may rely on or link to third-party services, including service providers' websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty regarding provider quality, availability, licensing, pricing, or results.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Catskills Property Connect will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for disputes, losses, injuries, property damage, or claims arising from dealings between users and service providers.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Catskills Property Connect from claims and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your dealings with another user or service provider.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the marketplace, enforce these Terms, or comply with law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Applicable claims will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in New York, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The revised Terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
