Information we collect
Visitors may browse and search the public directory without creating an account. We may collect search terms, approximate service area, pages viewed, provider profile views, and clicks on provider contact methods.
Providers may give us an email address, business name, password or Google account identity, business contact details, service categories, service areas, profile content, and billing or transaction information. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored directly by Catskills Property Connect.
How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the directory and provider workspace.
- Create accounts, authenticate users, and respond to support requests.
- Display provider listings and connect visitors with providers.
- Measure searches, profile views, and contact activity.
- Process provider purchases and prevent fraud or misuse.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Google sign-in and authentication
If you choose Continue with Google, Google shares basic account information needed to sign you in, such as your name, email address, and account identifier. We use this information only to authenticate and manage your Catskills Property Connect account. We do not sell Google user data.
Service providers
We use vendors to operate the service, including Supabase for database hosting and authentication, Google for optional sign-in, Vercel for website hosting, and Stripe for payment processing. These companies process information under their own terms and privacy policies and only as needed to provide their services to us.
Data retention and security
We retain information while it is needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect against misuse. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your account, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. You may also stop using Google sign-in and revoke access through your Google Account.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. We will post the revised version here and update its effective date.
