This policy explains how Catskills Property Connect handles information submitted through our website.
Information we collect
Property requests may include your name, email, phone number, property address, property type, requested service, timing, and project details. Provider applications may include contact and business information, services, and coverage areas. Payment details are collected by Stripe and are not stored by Catskills Property Connect.
How we use information
- Review and respond to property requests and provider applications.
- Match requests with service providers serving the relevant area.
- Send operational messages, confirmations, and payment information.
- Prevent spam, investigate misuse, and maintain business records.
When information is shared
We may share a masked request—such as the requested service, general area, timing, property type, and project summary—with a limited number of providers who may be able to help. By default, those providers do not receive your name, exact address, phone number, or email. We may send you business contact details for a primary provider and one alternate provider. We share your contact details with matched providers only if you chose the option allowing provider contact.
We may also use service providers for website hosting, address assistance, email delivery, database storage, and payment processing. We do not sell personal information as a standalone product.
Address assistance
When Google Maps address assistance is active and you use it, the address you enter may be processed by Google under Google's applicable terms and privacy policy.
Retention and security
We keep submissions and business records for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or transmission method is completely secure.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted, subject to records we must retain for legal, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes.
